Settings, then delete account. It happens straight away, and it is not reversible.
Your account is closed the moment you confirm. Any live event is cancelled, which means the people who said yes are told — we will not let an event you are no longer watching go ahead silently. Every scheduled message stops.
Thirty days later, the guest records that were yours are anonymised, so what remains cannot be traced back to a person.
Two things outlive that, and both for reasons we would rather be straight about. The contents of messages are kept for 180 days, because we have to be able to show what was sent and on what basis, and then they are purged. Opt-out records — a phone number and the fact that it said stop — are kept for as long as we run, because throwing one away would mean texting someone who told us not to.
